CIDBIA Food Walk

Over the years, CIDBIA has held variations of Food Walk activities that continues to grow in popularity. C-ID Food Walks offer businesses an opportunity to present a new dish, seasonal drink, or small retail promotion on a scale of price range. Customers can simply pick up a menu and explore around the neighborhood to sample new items or revisit old classics. Food Walks are usually held in the summer season or alongside events & special occasions such as Small Business Saturday.

Hai Japantown

Welcome to Hai Japantown, celebrate small and local businesses throughout the month of August with great food, art, and culture from August 9 – 29th.

A 20 day summer celebration where Japantown store, galleries, restaurants and other creative spaces will be showing their spirit with shopping, food and fun, along with self-guided tours and online events.

Celebrate Little Saigon

This year CID Block Party is teaming up with FLS to create a more cohesive experience for our community. Celebrate Little Saigon was created by Friends of Little Saigon to celebrate Vietnamese cuisine and culture. This festival takes place every summer and highlights local businesses, brings together Vietnamese artists and performers, and carves out space for community gatherings.

SAAFF CID Summer Cinema

The Seattle Asian American Film Festival, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation and InterIM CDA, hosts a month of Chinatown-International District outdoor movies at Hing Hay Park in the summertime.

Join us for free and family-friendly outdoor programming every Saturday evening in August, featuring performances by local musical acts, face painting, art making, and popcorn for all. Once the sun goes down, the movie begins!

Since art walk is extension of the CID Block Party, Art Walk is powered by grant money, volunteers, and donations!

Art Walk is simple in its concept. It’s a selfguided tour of the CID neighborhood businesses centered around art and BIPOC artists.

Art Walk originally, was started by Pioneer Square. We’ve adapted that to fit our version in Chinatown-ID. Art Walk is made up of volunteers, business owners and organizers.
